Tia, it is so funny to hear these great stories about you and my Tio, just wish I had been there to witness it. I am sure it was just as great as us playing "boat races" and my sister's 40th birthday. That is the great thing about memories, they are always there to look back on and enjoy time and again.
I pray that you continue to find yourself empowered by our prayers and that you are comforted in knowing that you continue to be in our thoughts. As is stated in Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. As a part of your prayer Warrior. We did the "WALK FOR THE CURE" walk on Sunday. With Team si se puede on hand Mom, Rosa, Lupe, Aileen, Sidia, Marcy, Alex, Chris, Ricky, Bella, Ruben, Steven, Elian, and yours truly. It is very over welling to see the multitude of families affected by Breast cancer. There was not a dry eye as we gathered to start the walk. The walk was a 1 mile 5K fun walk /run. After arriving to the one mile return point we felt one mile was not enough and we did the 5k walk. When I asked my Mom what do you thing one mile or do we do the 5K? Mom replied I am not even tried as she sat on her while chair. So we continued to walk the 5K.
It was not till we came to a down hill just after the 1 mile return point, that we realy got to see the multitude to people affected by breast cancer. Every on was there because there family have been affected by this. This reminded me of a verse in the Bible when multitudes of people would gather to hear Jesus talk. They would gather to hear Jesus talk both the believers and the none believers alike. This is truly a hair raising, goose bump moment.
Sis, You were very well represented not only by your closes of family but by a multitude of people that care for you and for every one affected by this. Just like the verse the Bible Jesus only had Five fish & two peaces of bread to feed use but yet we were all full.. Fight a good fight because you have a multitude of people that Love you.
