Cancer makes you busy

Whenever you hear the words cancer you never think...oh you'll be busy. However that is exactly what you are, at least, when first diagnosed. GTN has seen multitudes of doctors and clinics to verify several different components to the cancer, physicians to give choices to chemotherapy, and finally taking the time to tell the people that you love. There is also the business of daily chores and events that still go on, work, housekeeping, why is Christmas still here dismantling, cooking , etc.

This blog is intended to keep loved ones informed on GTN. She will be busy. She has some of the best doctors in the world who are there to fight this cancer and help her make decisions. She has her daughters and her husband-they will make sure she is doing well and will let you know what is going on through this blog. We want to keep you informed. We know you care. This allows the information she wants to be given. Phone time will be limited.
Cancer makes you busy.

GTN is known to me to be the ultimate symbol of strength. She is faithful in all things. We are asking for prayers. Please feel free to post notes here. She will get time to read this and will appreciate the kind thoughts.

    Gloria, "Si se puede!" is our logo or may be our team name for "Race for the Cure" walk/run that we will be joining Feb 17th in your honor.       Team "Si Se Puede" is registered. Anyone that would like to join/donate, please register @ susan g komen race for the cure. Go to "teams" and look for "Si Se Puede!" Special prayer will be held Sunday, before the race. Sister, we love you!

    Tia, I know you will start your fight with cancer tomorrow, I was thinking of you and I had a memory. You and Tio Rey would put on boxing gloves when you were younger and you would beat him up. I know you will knock cancer on it's butt like you did Tio. Sorry Tio, I had to share this, she did beat you up.

    You are such a strong woman and I know tomorrow will be hard. We will be with you in thoughts and prayers.

      Oh my gosh! I did hear about that one. I also heard growing up with so many girls was a blast and you are the disco queen! So dance that cancer away and stay strong! God Bless You.

      Your brother may be wimpy, but that's ok, he's a great husband!

    Holy Father,

    We praise your name & lift your name in prayer. We are asking for your Love and blessings over Our sister. Please help her be strong as she go through her chemo treatment and help her to a quick recovery. We pray for her family Tom, Lisa, Tory & Shelly. Please look over all of use. Your word reminds that "We walk in faith & not by sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7. We leave this petition in your hands all For your honor and your glory.

    Ya stop signaling me out. We have shared so mush. Like the time Mom put Lupe in charge if thanks giving dinner. We (Gloria & I ) were being our self's (young) & giving Lupe a hard time about everything.. Well she had had enough and come and put us in our place " ya asilen sienes cabrones". But we had one for her We started yelling " SE ESCAPO EL CÓCONO " and we continued ALL DAY. Tell me this was not annoying!! Good Times.. This is way my sister Lupe (La bonita) dances like a turkey..
